Cusick’s fumewort (Corydalis caseana cusickii) ejects its seed with fast and furious velocity. This seed must be collected at a very specific and narrow time of year. The plant grows to six feet tall and twelve feet wide under ideal conditions. Associated with stream banks at elevations near 5,000’ in central Idaho and the surrounding area.

"Used the water method to germinate. Put the seeds in water on a heat mat. After sprouting planted in pots. Germination was greater than 50%. Under lights now. Looking forward to planting outside in a few weeks."
