Packet provides you with 25 seeds. Easy to start from seed. Challenging to raise to maturity. Seeds are stratified and ready to plant. Purple milkweed is a perennial wildflower and monarch butterfly host plant. Tolerant of many soil conditions. Reports from the field indicate that the plant prefers to be in well drained moist soil. Two years to maturity. Seeds purchased in October have not been tested for germination. No limit.

50 butterfly weed seeds. Packet contains 50 to 75 seeds. Seeds are harvested from plants grown in Nevada. Germination rate is untested for 2018. In 2017 the germination rate was 100% Botanical name: Asclepias tuberosa. Start the seeds in a week using water germination or sow in the fall for a more natural method called cold moist stratification. Either way the monarch butterfly will appreciate having this milkweed available. Shipping is included in the quoted price.
