Asclepias fascicularis seeds. Packet contains a half gram (.5 g) of seeds.
These seeds originate in Winters California on Hedgerow Farms who has a local, to me, distributer Nature's Seed in Lehi Utah. I visited Nature's Seed in August 2023. After verifying the quality of the seed, in-person, I decided it meets the quality standards to sell in my shop.
A final mesh screening for fine particles is done by hand followed by intricate removal up to 11% on non-milkweed, inert particles, mostly stems, coma, leaves and bugs. The end product is seed product I am proud to offer.
The lead time from harvest to market is long. Plan for the 2023 seed harvest to be available here between March and May 2024. Seed viability remains stable for five to ten years.

Weekly freeze thaw cycle recommended to prepare the seed to germinate. Germination rate below 10% is probable despite viable seed being over 90% . Half gram packet is approximately 25 seeds +/-5 seeds.
