October 2022 Program update
Free Milkweed Seed program has been going very well. One thousand five hundred-six (1,506) packets of Free Milkweed Seeds have been delivered since kick off in October 2019. Today, October 5th 2022 there are five packets on order. Eighteen packets in inventory. Funding for one hundred ninety-four additional packets to be shipped. Common milkweed packets and swamp milkweed packets contain one gram of seeds. Calotropis procera contains twenty five seeds. If the packet average is eighty seeds, a conservative count, then how many seeds have shipped? Over 120,480 milkweed seeds!
May 2021 Program update
Free Milkweed Seed program has been going very well. Six hundred thirty-seven (637) packets of Free Milkweed Seeds have been delivered since kick off in October 2019. Today, May 12th 2021 there are five packets on order and funding for seventy three additional packets to be shipped. Common milkweed packets and swamp milkweed packets contain one gram of seeds. Calotropis procera contains twenty five seeds. If the packet average is eighty seeds, a conservative count, then how many seeds have shipped? Over 50,000 milkweed seeds!

Fundraiser Kick-Off

October 1st, 2019 marked the beginning of the Free Milkweed Seeds program. The plan is to make the program sustainable thru offering some seed packets as sponsors to cover the cost of Free Milkweed Seeds. No profit would be taken on sponsor seed packet sales. The winter is slow season for sales. It's also the best time of year to get the milkweed seeds ready to grow.
