Asclepias subulata - Rush milkweed
Collected by JB in the front garden area during July 2022. Smaller pods or pods containing seeds that were not full size and robust were not collected. All of these plants were grown out from seed collected from large-sized plants boardering an open parking lot in S. Tucson on March 28, 2021. Swarms of Pepsis wasps were the primary pollinators when they exploded into full bloom several months ago.
